Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Admission Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the admissions process. The Admission Officer will be responsible for managing the admissions process, evaluating applications, and providing support and guidance to prospective students.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the admissions process, including the collection and evaluation of applications, and communication with prospective students
- Evaluate applications and make admissions decisions in accordance with established criteria
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, and guidance counselors
- Conduct information sessions and campus tours for prospective students and their families
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse applicant pool
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless admissions process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of applicants and admissions decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in admissions or a related field
- Strong understanding of the admissions process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with admissions software and databases
