We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in a Fused Minerals Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production activities, ensuring safe furnace operations, maintaining product quality, optimizing productivity, and leading shop-floor personnel to achieve production targets while complying with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
Supervise daily production activities to ensure achievement of production targets.
Monitor furnace operations, melting processes, and material handling activities.
Ensure uninterrupted production by coordinating manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
Monitor production parameters and optimize process efficiency.
Prepare daily production reports and shift handover reports.
Furnace & Process Monitoring
Supervise electric arc furnace or other fused mineral processing operations.
Monitor temperature, power consumption, melting cycles, and process parameters.
Ensure proper charging of raw materials as per production requirements.
Coordinate tapping, cooling, crushing, grading, and packaging operations.
Report and resolve process abnormalities promptly.
