A Guest Faculty (or Visiting Lecturer) in Science and Humanities teaches specialized, short-term courses on a contractual basis. They are responsible for designing lesson plans, delivering engaging lectures, evaluating student performance, and sometimes mentoring students, while not holding a permanent tenure at the institution.
Responsibilities
Instruction: Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions in relevant disciplines (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Economics, or Sociology).Curriculum Execution: Follow and adapt the established syllabus, and develop supplementary study materials and lesson plans.
Assessment: Set and evaluate examinations, assignments, and practical projects. Provide constructive feedback to help students overcome academic weaknesses.
Mentorship: Provide academic and career guidance to students, and assist them during office hours.
