We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to install, configure, maintain, and support the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of servers, networks, operating systems, and security systems while providing technical support to users and maintaining high system availability.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration
Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and software installations.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Network Management
Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Ensure network security and optimize network performance.
Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) when required.
Server & Infrastructure Management
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Monitor storage systems and server health.
Maintain server documentation and inventory.
Security & Backup
Implement security policies, antivirus solutions, and endpoint protection.
Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
Monitor security logs and respond to security incidents.
Ensure compliance with IT security standards and company policies.
Technical Support
Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Troubleshoot operating system and application issues.
Resolve support tickets within defined service levels.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain system configuration documents and IT asset records.
Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
Document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Maintain software licenses and warranty records.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
1–5 years of experience in System Administration or IT Infrastructure Support.
Freshers with strong technical knowledge, certifications, or internship experience may also apply.
